Identified
The AWS UAE (me-central-1) disruption has escalated into a regional outage. Multiple Availability Zones are impacted due to a power issue, and new EC2 instance launches are currently unavailable across the region.
Impact: CAST AI node scaling and node replacement operations are currently unavailable in this region, and some EKS clusters may be partially or fully degraded. AWS expects recovery to take multiple hours and recommends failing over to another region where possible.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide further updates.
